Imagine two twenty year-olds getting married and are about to pursue life with each other, but they can not even sip champagne on their wedding day. Imagine a soldier that is off fighting in a foreign war for his own country, but he is not even allowed to drink any alcohol while risking his life. These are some of the problems the United States has been dealing with for the past century and have not came up with an age that everyone is content about. The drinking age in America should be changed to 18 because its grants bigger and better rights and responsibilities for those who are of the legal age to drink.
